\nAu d\u00e9but du XXe si\u00e8cle, le p\u00e8re Ip confie son fils Ip Man<\/strong> et son autre fils, adoptif, Ip Tin Chi, \u00e0 Chan Wah Shun, ma\u00eetre de la boxe wing chun \u00e0 Faat San<\/strong> (Foshan).
\nApr\u00e8s le d\u00e9c\u00e8s de ma\u00eetre Chan, l’\u00e9cole est dirig\u00e9e par ma\u00eetre Ng Chung So.
\nLes ann\u00e9es passent.<\/strong> Les enfants sont devenus grands. Ip Man est envoy\u00e9 \u00e0 Hong Kong<\/strong> pour y faire des \u00e9tudes sup\u00e9rieures.
\nA Hong Kong, Ip Man fait la rencontre de ma\u00eetre Leung Bik<\/strong>, qui a cr\u00e9\u00e9 un wing chun plus rapide, plus percutant. Ip Man devient son \u00e9l\u00e8ve.
\nMais \u00e0 son retour \u00e0 Faat San, Ip Man est puni par son sup\u00e9rieur ma\u00eetre Ng, qui estime que ce qu’il a appris avec ma\u00eetre Leung n’est pas du vrai wingchun. D’ailleurs ma\u00eetre Leung est consid\u00e9r\u00e9 comme un opposant au d\u00e9funt ma\u00eetre Chan.
\nPendant ce temps, les Japonais fourbissent un plan machiav\u00e9lique pour conqu\u00e9rir la Chine. Ip Man va s’apercevoir que ses proches sont m\u00eal\u00e9s \u00e0 ce complot…<\/p>\n
